陳穎祺 Phoebe Wing-ki CHAN

在香港土生土長，於香港浸會大學音樂系完成學士課程，主修敲擊樂演奏及教學法，師隨梁偉華。其後更取得香港中文大學音樂碩士學位。她亦以優異成績考獲倫敦聖三一音樂學院演奏文憑（LTCL）。此外, 陳氏亦曾到美國及克羅地亞跟隨Nancy Zeltsman、Ivana Bilic及Eric Sammut等大師學習馬林巴。

 

陳氏熱衷於音樂表演活動，自1999年起多次到海內外參與巡迴演出及比賽，音樂響遍美國、加拿大、墨西哥、澳洲、日本、韓國、新加坡、印尼、台灣、中國及澳門等多個國家和城市；她又經常以獨奏者的身份於本地多個場合中演出，備受賞識。2011年，與本地揚琴演奏家馬詩恩組成「魄‧擊 PAAR!!!!」二重奏樂團，演繹其原創及改編作品，讓更多觀眾近距離感受音樂的新文化。

 

演出外，陳氏對音樂教育亦充滿熱忱，現為多間中、小學的敲擊樂導師及樂團指揮。

Phoebe was born and raised in Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Music in the Hong Kong Baptist University with Mr Raymond Leung (majoring in percussion performance and pedagogy) and her Master of Arts in Music in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also holds the Licentiate Diploma in percussion recital with distinction by Trinity College London. Besides, she has been to the U.S.A and Croatia to learn marimba with the eminent musicians, Nancy Zeltsman, Ivana Bilic and Eric Sammut.

 

Phoebe regularly performs at various local places. From 1999, Phoebe began to perform aboard in places including the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, mainland China and Macau. Besides orchestral and solo performances, Phoebe also shows huge enthusiasm on duo playing. In 2011, she founded PAAR!!!! with local yangqin player, Yanki Ma. The group’s vast repertoire includes their original works and own music arrangements. They wish to bring the audiences a new experience of contemporary music culture.

Phoebe also teaches percussion and conducts percussion band in several secondary and primary schools.
